Flatworm Forms
These three sculptures are inspired by polyclad flatworms and negative curvature. The brownish piece is similar to a flatworm on the bottom surface of some body of water. The other two are more abstract and were designed to maintain negative curvature everywhere, a hallmark of hyperbolic surfaces embedded in Euclidean three-dimensional space.
